Case Studies  |  Rooftop Photovoltaic & Microgrid System

TX Distribution Center

This project features a 633.6 kW-DC photovoltaic (PV) system composed of 1,408 high-efficiency solar modules paired with eight SMA 62kW inverters, providing robust energy generation capabilities. The rooftop installation utilizes a ballast-mounted system, ensuring structural integrity and ease of installation without roof penetration.

To enhance resilience, the system includes a 250 kW power-rated energy storage solution with a capacity of 558 kWh. The Socomec HES L energy storage system integrates seamlessly into the microgrid, connecting to the facility’s critical loads. This design ensures uninterrupted operation during brownouts or blackouts, significantly improving energy reliability and operational continuity.
