Big Shine Energy Ground Mount KY Case Study

Case Studies  |  Ground and Rooftop Photovoltaic system

KY Manufacturer

Big Shine Energy designed and constructed a photovoltaic system in three phases, featuring 1,158 450-watt monocrystalline modules. The solar panels were installed in two locations: on the rooftops of two buildings and as a ground-mounted array within a wildflower field. The system is powered by SMA-America inverters, enabling easy monitoring of energy production and system performance. Generating 636,868 kWh annually, the system offsets 75% of the facility’s energy consumption. Comprehensive geotechnical and structural studies were conducted to ensure optimal design and long-term reliability.
