Ballasted roof mounts require none to minimal penetration to your roof. This mounting type mostly relies on weight to hold the system in place. This type of system is ideal for flat roofs. Traditional ground mounts use metal frames driven into the ground to hold the photovoltaic modules at the specified angle.
